img 6371MSMEs are the backbone of every economy, and they play a crucial role in furthering growth, innovation and prosperity. Indian MSMEs contribute 45% to country’s GDP, make a large contribution to innovation, employment and support regional development. Unfortunately, these enterprises are strongly restricted in accessing the capital that they require to grow and expand, rating access to finance as a major constraint. Thus access to finance is necessary to create an economic environment that enables MSMEs to grow and prosper.

With a view to enhance the efficiency, visibility and effectiveness of MSMEs, Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA), organised a Seminar on Bridging the gap between MSMEs & Financial institutions on October 12, 2017 in Mumbai.

The objective of the Seminar was to create an awareness on the various financial options available for the growth of MSMEs. The seminar deliberated on how MSMEs can make use of various schemes and products offered by government, public sector and private sector financial institutions to this sector.

Mr. Santosh Mandlecha, President, MACCIA delivered the welcome address. Mr. Mandlecha also felicitated the panellists and acknowledged the partners for their support.
